Vent Free gas logs are NOT to be installed in the following applications:

As replacement logs for a direct vent fireplace or insert.

Any fireplace not approved for vent-free gas logs

On top of any burner system that is not designed for them
- In cities or municipalities that do not allow vent-free gas logs. If unsure, check with your local building department.
